UPDATE: Further arrests made following robbery at Kinmel Bay Store

FURTHER arrests have been made following a robbery at a Kinmel Bay Store.

Four men, aged 16, 17, 18 and 20, were arrested following the incident which happened last month at the Apex (former Spar) store on Foryd Road.

The men, all from the Rhyl area, were arrested on suspicion of robbery after officers executed warrants at residential properties in the Rhyl area.

The men have since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

A 27-year-old man, previously arrested in connection with the robbery at the store, also remains on police bail while inquiries continue.

Jonathan Salisbury-Jones, detective Inspector, said: “We remain keen to speak to anyone who was in the area of Foryd Road just after 9.15pm on Wednesday, April 30, to get in touch with us.

"We also want to hear from anyone who has information or may have seen any suspicious activity around the store on the evening to contact us at St Asaph CID on 101 quoting reference number R063895.”
