Man arrested after robbery at Kinmel Bay store

A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a robbery at the Spar Store in Kinmel Bay last night (Wednesday).

The man is currently in custody awaiting questioning after Police received a report shortly after 9.15pm last night of a robbery at the Spar on Foryd Road, Kinmel Bay.

Two individuals are believed to have entered the store and demanded cash and once in possession of the cash, they left the store.

Police attended the area and the man was arrested a short time later on suspicion of robbery.

Police inquiries are continuing and officers are urging anyone with information or who may have seen any suspicious activity around the Spar Store on Foryd Road last night to contact officers at St Asaph CID on 101 quoting reference number R063895.
