POLICE are trying to track down a dog which attacked another dog and its owner on Prestatyn promenade.

The lurcher-type dog was off its lead when it injured the other animal and its owner, who sustained a hand injury while trying to intervene in the attack, near the Nova Centre at about 5.15am on Monday, March 24.

A police spokesperson said: “Police are appealing to the owner of the lurcher type to come forward and are also calling on anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to contact PC 2839 Williams at Rhyl police station on 101, quoting reference number R043052. “Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

This dog has attacked on the holiday park where lives with his owner on Lido Beach Holiday Park in Prestatyn the poor dog he attatcked required urgent vets treatment. I am a dog owner but surely this dog is dangerous and at least should be muzzled in a public place.
