Police appeal after attempted robbery at Prestatyn convenience store

A MALE offender is being sought after he attempted to rob a convenience store in Prestatyn.

Police are appealing for information to trace a male offender after he entered the Co-Operative store on Meliden Road in Prestatyn around 7pm on Tuesday, March 11 and demanded money from staff.

He left empty handed and no one was hurt during the incident.

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a male dressed in dark clothing in the area of Meliden Road at that time and ask anyone with information to contact DC Will Jones at Central CID on 01745 539125 or alternatively on 101.
