THE show-stopping Red Arrows will perform at this year's Rhyl Air Show, it has been confirmed.
The popular event, organised by Denbighshire County Council with support from Rhyl Town Council and the Rhyl Branch of the Royal Air Force Association, will take place on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31 along Rhyl's sea-front.
The Red Arrows will showcase their aerobatics on the Sunday - timings are yet to be confirmed.
Sian Davies, event manager for Denbighshire, said: "We've only found out today and are thrilled to announce the return of the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Display Team.
"It's a momentous year for the Red Arrows as they are celebrating their 50th display season and have recently unveiled a new tail fin design.
"The makeover is the most significant change to the look of the team's famous aircraft in its history. In the shape of a Union flag, the striking new tail design reflects the Best of British and emphasises the Red Arrows' role as ambassadors for the United Kingdom and as the public face of the Royal Air Force."
