UPDATE: Three local men arrested after Kinmel Bay robbery

THREE men have been arrested in connection with a robbery at the Lifestyle Express in Kinmel Bay.

North Wales Police apprehended the men, who are local, late on Tuesday, February 4 after cash was taken from the convenience store on Towyn Road at around 8pm on Monday.

Police are still appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.

Detective Chief Inspector Gareth Evans said: “Despite the arrests, we are still keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the vicinity at around 8pm on Monday or to anyone who saw two men heading in the direction of Woodside Avenue.”

Two men entered the shop, one of which was believed to be armed.

One is described as being of large build, tall and wore jeans and a hooded top - with the second man described as being of medium build, wearing jeans and was also wearing a hooded top.
