PRESTATYN Town players and officals attended Ysbyty Glan Clwyd's children's ward to spread some festive joy.

A number of first team players and coaches made the trip armed with sackfuls of presents and two special guests - the Welsh Cup and NWCFA Challenge Cup trophies they won last season.

The Town contingent handed over gifts to the young patients who will spend time at the ward over Christmas.

Prestatyn Town community officer, Jack Lewis, said:  "As part of my community role at the club, I thought it would be a great idea for the club to help bring a smile to the children who find themselves in hospital over Christmas.

"The players have donated money towards the presents and we are grateful to Ady Williams Area Manager of Home Bargains for their kind support in donating over £200 worth of presents and Dave Mclave of Tesco Prestatyn for donating 80 selection boxes."
