Millbank Road, Rhyl

POLICE have negotiated with a man who had made his way onto a roof in Rhyl on Thursday night.

Officers managed to get the man down safely  after he made his way onto the roof of a property in Millbank Road after a Misuse Drugs Act search warrant was executed.

A North Wales Police spokesman said: "Officers executed a Misuse Drugs Act search warrant in Millbank Road during which time a man made his way onto roof.

"At this time our priority changed to ensure his safe return to ground level.

"Officers negotiated with him for a period of time and ensured his safe removal from the roof. Items believed to be controlled drugs were recovered from the premises.

"This is part of an ongoing operation to target those involved in the unlawful supply of controlled drugs.”
