POLICE are searching for a man who left hospital in Bodelwyddan before he could be treated.
The man, who police believe to be Robert James Higgins, aged 59, of no fixed address, attended Ysbyty Glan Clwyd at 9.30pm on Friday, September 13, but left before he could be treated and may have given misleading details.
Police are concerned for his welfare.
The man was sighted on CCTV boarding a bus from Ysbyty Glan Clwyd to Rhyl at 9.35am the next morning, and was later seen at Bog Island in Llandudno at 11.10am, but has not been seen since.
He is known to have links to north and west Wales, including Aberystwyth, Llandudno and Rhyl.
He is described as relatively tall, of medium build, with close shaven hair.
He was wearing a dark coloured top with white stripes across the chest and on the arms, blue jeans and trainers.
He was carrying two blue coloured backpacks and a large white Lidl shopping bag.
North Wales Police Inspector Paul McKeown said: “There are concerns for this man’s welfare and the North Wales Police would like to make contact with him to ensure that he is safe and well.”
