Man arrested with knife in Meliden

POLICE are appealing for information after a man was spotted outside a convenience store with a knife.

The man, 39, was arrested on suspicion of robbery and affray after entering the One Stop Shop in Meliden with a knife sometime after 9pm on Thursday, September 12.

He was taken to St Asaph custody.

Police investigating are appealing to anyone who was in the Ffordd Talargoch at the time or has information to contact DS 1707 Underhill at St Asaph CID on 101.

Alternatively, individuals with information can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
