GCSE results for Emrys ap Iwan have improved this year breaking previous records.
A total of 79 per cent of students at the Abergele school gained 5 or more GCSEs at A*-C level, an increase of 15 per cent on last year with 36 pupils A and A* in at least one subject, with a quarter gaining at least four top grades.
Acting headteacher Maureen James, said: "These excellent results reflect the hard work and commitment of pupils as well as the professional dedication of teaching staff.
"I am absolutely delighted with the performance of our students this year and would like to congratulate them on their outstanding results.
"Staff have worked extremely hard to provide not only excellent teaching but also extensive additional support through coaching and revision programmes.
"Our students have responded with maturity and fully deserve these impressive results."
