The man charged with steering the regeneration of Rhyl town centre has stepped down almost a year and a half into the job.
Town Centre Manager Malcolm Hall left his job with Rhyl City Strategy yesterday (Tuesday, August 13) having handed in his notice three weeks ago.
Programmin Officer Jo Howes, who worked alongside Mr Hall since he was brought in March 2012, said: "I think he felt like he'd done what he could for RCS.
"He did bring some vibrancy and activity into the town, and I think a lot of people are sad to see him go."
Rhyl City Strategy are still undecided about refilling the position of Town Centre Manager.
Ms Howes added: "But if plans for the regenration of Rhyl are going to go ahead then we are going to have to bring someone in to the role."
