A 26-year-old man has been slashed with a knife in Prestatyn this morning.
The attack happened around 06.40am on Seabank Drive during an altercation between a group of men.
North Wales Police are now appealing to the public after the man, believed to be local to the area, sustained injuries to his arm.
Investigating Officer, DC Jenny Sansom, said “At about 6.40am on Monday March 18, an altercation took place between about five men in Seabank Drive, Prestatyn, resulting in one of the group, a 26 year old local man, being attacked with a knife and sustaining ‘slash’ type injuries to his arm which, fortunately, are not serious.”
Following the attack, the man’s assailants, all of whom were dressed casually and aged in their 20’s and 30’s, made off from the area.
DC Sansom added: “I’d like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed this altercation.”
