HUNDREDS flocked to Rhyl Town Hall on Saturday to celebrate the resort's links to the sea.
The town's first Festival of the Sea saw schoolchildren, performers and artists wow more than 350 visitors with a range of work exploring Rhyl's relationship to the sand and sea.
Exhibitions and workshops were held with work created by pupils at Rhyl High School on show as well as from local artists and craft groups.
Performances included Vale Singers, Rhyl band Contagious, North Wales Women's Centre's Creative Writing Group, The Kids Fun Club and Rhyl Marching Band.
