A PRESTATYN mum-of-two is hoping for chart success with her debut single.
Chantel Louise Lappin, 23, and will be releasing her first single, Switch and music video on the March 25.
Former Rhyl High School student Chantel said: “I have quite a lot of songs that I’ve written as I’m a songwriter but I’ve been waiting for that one that I want to release and Switch is the one.
“I hope my single will go far in the charts and future singles to come.
“I think the single will be a hit.”
Switch has already had airtime on Point FM and it has been sent to Heart FM and BBC 1xtra and will be available to download from iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and Deezer and DJ Tunes and is being promoted by Far Out Productions.
Chantel only started her singing career a year ago after raising her two children Elisha, six, and Gabrielle, two.
She said: “It’s always been in me and my mum is a singer too so it runs in the family.”
The music video for her single features well-known locations including Llandudno’s Escape Hotel.
Chantel has already begun working on her next single.
Chantel will be performing in Birmingham on March 22 at the charity ball A Beautiful Evening in aid of The Katie Piper Foundation along with fellow Prestatyn singer Ceri Pritchard.
