A POPULAR Rhuddlan restaurant and hotel which were devastated by November’s floods are set to re-open their doors next week.
The Morfa, also known as Table Table, along with the Premier Inn, situated on the Castleview Retail Park, received investment of £1.2m following damage caused when the River Elwy burst its banks and water swept through the properties.
The company, which will re-open both sites on February 18, is inviting people to dine for half price the day before between 12pm and 8pm on Sunday February 17.
A donation of 50 per cent of all the money taken during the day will go towards The Flood Relief Fund, to support those affected by flooding.
Dave Ainsworth, the restaurant’s general manager, said: “I cannot wait for the re-opening - seeing the staff and the locals dining here again will be fantastic.
“I’d love everybody to come down to the re-opening and make the most of our half price offer.”
On February 28 community leaders will attend the restaurant and be presented with the money raised for the Flood Relief Fund.
Mayor of Rhuddlan, Gwilym Williams, said: “It is an important part of Rhuddlan and it draws a lot of people in.”
