2013 has started with a bumper crop of films starring many well known and much loved actors, and the Scala will bring movie buffs even more top class offerings in the next 12 months.
The Scala’s Tuesday treats for grown ups are a chance for film fans to enjoy the latest releases, with refreshments served in Saronies cafe bar.
Chris Bond General manager said: “We are pleased that the Tuesday morning showings have become so popular with the public. It is a great opportunity not only to enjoy a film in the daytime but also an opportunity to make new friends.”
Still to come are Les Miserables (12A, February 8) and comedies Quartet (12A, Feb 1-7) and Song for Marion (PG).
Quartet follows the hinjinks in a home for retired opera singers, whose concert celebrating Verdi's birthday is disrupted by the arrival of Jean (Maggie Smith).
Billy Connolly and Michael Gambon also star.
A Song for Marion stars Vanessa Redgrave, Terence Stamp, Gemma Arterton and Christopher Eccleston.
Each Tuesday treat for grown up starts at 11am. For more information, visit www.scalaprestatyn.co.uk.
