AN ACCLAIMED musican is set to bring his motley band of folk comrades to Trelawnyd.

The Record Journal Live presents Bellowhead fiddler Joe Boden & The Remnant Kings at Trelawnyd Memorial Hall on March 9.

Aside from his two solo albums, Jon has released several highly acclaimed albums with rising stars Bellowhead, as well as with traditional duo, Spiers & Boden.

He has also recorded and performed with Eliza Carthy on one of her Mercury Prize nominated albums.

Joe’s Trelawnyd show will feature lively new arrangements of traditional material, alongside material from Jon's Songs From The Floodplain - his critically acclaimed album set in a dystopian future.

The Remnant Kings include Joe’s Bellowhead cohorts Sam Sweeney and Paul Sartin, concertina virtuoso Rob Harbron and double bass maestro Rick Foot.

Also making a return appearance will be wax cylinder players Eric and Edith.

Tickets are £16. To book, call The Record Journal on 07899024162, or visit
