EXCITEMENT is mounting as former X Factor winners Little Mix prepare to play two sell-out shows at Rhyl.
The chart topping girl band, made up of, Perrie, Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Jade, visit The Pavilion Theatre on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 of January.
The ‘Wings’ singers met when they auditioned for the X Factor as solo performers, but under the mentoring of judge Tulisa Contostavlos, they joined together to form Little Mix.
The girls became an instant hit with the public, and were the first band to win the X Factor back in 2011.
Michelle Williams, an excited fan, said: “I got front row tickets for my daughter, her friends, and myself.
“They have been counting down the days since the day I booked them.”
Gareth Owen, theatre manager, said: “I’m very pleased that X Factor’s 2011 winners, Little Mix will be appearing in a two day sell out concert at the Pavilion.
“We feel at the Pavilion, that we are doing our bit to help regenerate the town, the economic impact of the Pavilion on Rhyl is worth £4 million a year.
“This year’s panto, Sleeping Beauty, plays until Saturday.
“The reviews have been fantastic and there’s a great song in it where we promote the town.”
