A PRESTATYN man was stabbed in the stomach during a violent High Street brawl on Sunday night.
Three men have been arrested following the disturbance, that took place in and around the ‘Best Kebab Shop’ in the town centre shortly after 11pm.
The 26-year-old victim was taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital, where he is being treated for the stab wound to his abdomen, which is not thought to be life threatening.
North Wales Police are now appealing for witnesses following the incident.
Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant, Bob Halford, said: “It appears an argument began inside the Offa’s Tavern Public House in Prestatyn High Street, and spilled out onto the road and the near by kebab shop.
“Several men became involved in a violent brawl which resulted in a 26-year-old local man being stabbed.
“There were a number of people in and around the High Street at this time, and although three men have been arrested we still need to build up a full picture.
“So I would ask if you were in the area and witnessed this disturbance please make contact with Police.
“We are also very keen to hear from anyone inside the Offa’s Tavern Public House who can assist and indicate how it all started and exactly who is involved.”
Anyone with information should call North Wales Police on 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
