RESIDENTS in Colwyn Bay are invited to the next round of a community vote on events to be held in the town.

A voting event for the third Participatory Budgeting (PB) Project, which has helped launch popular community events in the Colwyn Bay area, will take place at the Colwyn Leisure Centre at 6pm on Wednesday July 11.

People living in Rhos on Sea, Colwyn Bay and Old Colwyn will have the chance to vote on which of the proposed projects will receive a share of the £10,000 funding.

An additional £20,000 has also been set aside by the Town Council for large-scale public events, to be used for events held in the next 15 months.

Cllr Viv Perry, Town Mayor, said “We now need the public to come along next Wednesday, 11th July, to let us know which of these events they would like to see taking place in The Bay between now and next May.”
