FANS of old school entertainment with a modern twist should book early for a chance to one of the finest ventriloquists on the circuit.

Paul Zerdin brings his colourful characters and razor sharp script to the Rhyl Pavilion on August 25, for an act that is equally at home at comedy clubs as it is with prime time TV.

TV viewers will know Paul from a wealth of guest spots over a career that spans nearly 20 years.

He has also appeared at the London Palladium on the same bill as Cirque du Soleil, and performed at the showbiz hotspot that is Las Vegas.

Paul show features the cheeky pre-adolescent Sam, belligerent OAP Albert and precocious infant Baby, and a few new tricks to surprise audiences.

He uses his talents so that his audience play an integral part in the show, working alongside his puppet characters.
