THE RE-LAUNCHED Prestatyn Town Football Academy is recruiting players for the coming season.
Lead by John Roberts, the Seasiders head of player and coach development, the Academy is looking for young players who are ready to learn and want to become part of the club’s FA Player Development Programme.
“The mission is to provide a proven and clear route into our Welsh Premier League first team,” said Roberts “We will provide experienced UEFA coaches, sports science education, expert goalkeeper coaching and a professional learning environment so all players are able to fulfil their potential,” he added.
All players are welcome to attend the open training sessions at the Morfa playing fields, Prestatyn, on Tuesdays, age 6 at 7pm, 6 to 11-year-olds 7pm, 12 to 19-year-olds 8pm.
The Academy are also looking for potential coaches who want to become part of their new coach development and mentoring programme which will provide funding and mentoring for FAW Leader, C, B and A Licence development courses as well as sports science, first aid and child protection education.
All potential coaches are welcome to attend the open training sessions.

The Seasiders open their pre-season programme on Saturday July 7 when Cheshire League Eagle Sports are the visitors to Bastion Gardens.
They follow this on Saturday July 14 when North London outfit Wingate and Finchley of the Ryman League are the visitors.
Wingate are managed by Dave Norman who is well-known in North Wales football circles from his time with Bangor City, Rhyl, Colwyn Bay and Oswestry Town.
The teams’ reserve sides will play at noon with the first teams facing each other at 3pm.
