NANT CONWY’S North Wales Senior Cup clash with Bala was called off at the weekend after an injury to the referee.
With the scores tied at 10-10 in the second half, referee Tom Wright was forced out of action with a pulled leg muscle, forcing the match to be abandoned.
Nant were 7-3 down at the break, after taking the lead through Carwyn ap Myrddyn’s penalty, but after Bala struck a penalty of their own, Ifan Jones capitalised on a succession of phases to level the scores 11 minutes into the second half, with Myrddyn converting.
Nant are back in action this weekend with their SWALEC Plate Semi-final against Ystrad Rhondda, with the Llanrwst boys travelling down to South Wales on Saturday.
Bryn Williams marked his final match as Colwyn Bay RFC captain with a 29-27 victory over Machynlleth.
