WE ARE not alone, suggest new UFO pictures taken in Denbigh last week.
And the truth may well be out there.
On Wednesday February 1, Graham Evans from Denbigh was startled when a strange flying object suddenly appeared in the daylight sky as he was taking a photograph with his digital camera.
“I was walking around Denbigh taking pictures of several locations for a video I was making and it was about 2.30pm when I reached Leicesters Church by Denbigh Castle,” said Mr Evans.
“I was just about to take the picture when an object suddenly appeared in the sky moving very quickly from left to right.”
Mr Evans also took pictures of a large light in the sky over Denbigh Castle in November 2009 and gave the same description about the object travelling “very quickly from right
to left”.
“It was a dark oval shape and it made no sound whatsoever, I would guess it was approximately 20 feet in diameter,” Mr Evans said.
“As my camera was switched on and ready to take I managed to get one shot of it before it vanished in the distance, there was no one with me at the time to witness this strange event,” he added.
Scott Felton of Conwy UFO group believes the UFO picture is very clear and it is not a mark on the camera lens.
“Most sightings are at night and it is unusual to have a clear day time sighting,” said Mr Felton.
“It is small and from the angle the picture was taken it gives the impression it’s oval but it’s more a disc shape.
“It seems to have a spinning top which is a standard regular flying disc shape,” he added.
Denbigh is a popular location for UFO sightings, and in 2009 three UFOs hovering over Denbigh were reported and described as large red lights about the size of the moon, and shortly after they flew off a fourth craft appeared in the sky.
“There is a hot spot for sightings in this area and there is a Denbigh triangle where things have been seen,” said Mr Felton.
Another UFO sighting was seen in Denbigh on January 3, 2012, and videoed by a family at their home at 3am.
“Since two sightings have been seen and captured in the space of a month, it could possibly be the same UFO,” he said.
North Wales Police has revealed there was 13 official reports of UFOs from the public since 2004 until April 2011.
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) department that investigated sightings within the UK closed in 2009 after 60 years, because investigating UFO sightings were “an inappropriate use of defence resources”.
“The MoD has no opinion on the existence or otherwise of extra-terrestrial life,” said its statement.
“However, in over 50 years, no UFO report has revealed any evidence of a potential threat to the United Kingdom,” added the MoD.
