APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT
MEMBERS TO THE STANDARDS
COMMITTEE OF FLINTSHIRE
COUNTY COUNCIL
Under the Local Government Act 2000, the Council is required to have a
Standards Committee to promote and maintain high standards of conduct
amongst elected and co-opted Members of the Authority. A vacancy for
three, possibly four independent members exists and therefore the Council
is now seeking applications from any person who wishes to be considered
for discharging this important role.
Certain eligibility criteria will have to be met by successful applicants:-
• He/she should not be a member or officer of Flintshire County Council
or another County Council, County Borough Council, National Park
Authority, Fire Authority or Community Council.
• He/she should not be the spouse or partner of a member or officer
of Flintshire County Council or another County Council, County
Borough Council, National Park Authority, Fire Authority or
Community Council.

PEDESTRIANS ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT
1984 – SECTION 14
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO 60 IN THE
COMMUNITY OF CILCAIN
Flintshire County Council has made an Order which will
prohibit any pedestrians from using that Public Footpath
No. 60 in the Community of Cilcain from a point at
NGR 31868 36514 and ending at a point NGR 31847 36471.
The reason for the closure is to protect the public.
There is no alternative route available.
The Order comes into force on the 3rd January 2013.
It is anticipated that the footpath will be closed up to a
maximum period of six months.

APPLICATION FOR A MARINE LICENCE TO CONSTRUCT AN ACCESS RAMP AT THE EAST
PROMENADE, RHYL
Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Part 4, Chapter 1, Section 68 of the Marine and Coastal
Access Act 2009, that Denbighshire County Council has applied, to the Welsh Government's Marine
Consents Unit acting on behalf of the Welsh Ministers, for a marine licence to construct an access
ramp at the east promenade, Rhyl.
The application and plans showing the position of the works are available for public inspection
during normal office hours 9am - 5pm at Rhyl Library, Church Street, Rhyl, LL18 3AA.
Representations or objections in respect of the application should be made in writing to: Michael
Brown, Marine Consents Unit, Welsh Government, Cathays Park, Cardiff, CF10 3NQ. In your
