Rhuddlan robbery pair charged

TWO men quizzed in connection with a raid on Rhuddlan’s KFC drive-thru restaurant have been charged.

A 21-year-old and 41-year-old, said to be from the local area, have been charged with robbery and conspiracy to rob following the theft shortly after 11pm on Saturday.

The pair, who were remanded in custody, were expected to appear before Prestatyn Magistrates Court on Tuesday as The Journal went to press.

Police launched an appeal for witnesses immediately after the incident which according to police left staff shocked but uninjured.
