Eirias Stadium will come alive on July 27 as it stages an Olympic Celebration Concert showcasing some of Wales’ top artists as well as being the only Community Live Site in North Wales to catch the Olympic opening ceremony live.
To mark Conwy’s celebration of the London Games, the North Wales Pioneer has teamed up with Conwy County Borough Council to offer two lucky readers a pair of meet and greet tickets with Britain’s Got Talent stars Only Boys Aloud, who will be headlining the once in a lifetime concert.
“A huge audience has seen them on TV, and now people in Colwyn Bay can get to see them live as part of a fantastic concert line-up,” said Only Boys Aloud Musical Director, Tim Rhys Evans.
Other artists performing include former Alarm frontman Mike Peters, West End star Sophie Evans, Last Choir Standing runners-up Côr Glanaethwy and local songstress Sioned Terry.
Sections of the Olympic opening ceremony will be shown on a large screen and the stadium and surrounding areas will have an Olympic feel with flags and banners.
To be in with a chance of winning one of the special pairs of tickets, answer the following question and pop your answer into the Pioneer Office along with your name, address and contact details.
