I am writing in support of the staff at the council recycling centre at Marsh Road, Rhyl.
Firstly, it is not they who make the rules as to who can and cannot use the facilities.
The councillors make the rules but the staff are left to implement them.
The rules say that no commercial vehicles are allowed.
Surely a taxi is a commercial vehicle. If a taxi owner wants to use his cab as a private car, and be able to use the facilities, he should remove his roof sign and cover up his taxi licence plate.
Secondly, the staff at this recycling centre provide an excellent service.
I use the centre a lot to recycle all sorts of items and find the staff are always polite and helpful, even to the extent of helping me to carry heavy or bulky items which I cannot manage myself.
Well done and thank you to all the recycling centre staff.
C Roberts,
Grosvenor Ave.,
Rhyl
