The Tourism Partnership North Wales trying to promote Rhyl for 'the well to do'.
Obviously they said this with tongue in cheek,
High quality class accommodation.
Where?
People on holiday need high quality hotels.
Where are they?
Or should I say when are these going to be built?
Interesting places, yes the concrete jungle.
The white elephant of a Theatre, amid a disaster of a drift park, no easy access to the beach.
No decent seats along the prom, no flower gardens, in fact absolutely nothing to interest day trippers, let alone weekend breaks.
We certainly are putting ourselves on the map for being the most distressed seaside town in Wales.
I am afraid we have to concede holiday makers, poor or well to do, drive straight through Rhyl to the more sedate towns of Rhos-On-Sea and Llandudno, and I for one don`t blame them.
