ANOTHER Budget done. Old red box, new red face.
After a decade of national debts and borrowing, Labour's reputation of financial capability is shattered.
But the Prime Minister must shoulder the blame as former Chancellor with the "live now, pay later" policy.
We have been this way before with Harold Wilson and Denis Healy, which was a disaster.
The purpose of budgets is to keep the finances in control.
We need manifestos that are truthful and referendums for the people to vote on.
The daily killings in Iraq would never have taken place if the people of this country had been asked to vote to go to war. The answer would have been no.
It was Blair's decision.
