THE Journal's poor coverage of the recent elections in its May 7th issue was very disappointing.
Surely the County and Town Council elections deserve more than a single column?
I learned more about Denbighshire's election from a London based national newspaper than from your brief item.
A comparable amount of space was given to a dog's hitch hiking expedition!
It seemed as though you were under orders to hide, rather than report the election's outcome.
Your readership might reasonably have expected information about the numbers of votes cast for each candidate and turn out, as well as more detailed comment.
Surely, for instance, the unseating of Mr and Mrs German at the county election - a couple who have worked hard for Prestatyn over a number of years - deserved more than a casual reference?
