A high price to pay for 'free' parking

Before anyone gets too carried away with the 'free' parking being restored to our hospitals, they should look in their local press for plans to make people park outside their own houses at a cost.
This will effect far more people than the hospital charges. After the 'success' of charging along the front it was obvious that our council wouldn't stop there.
There are now plans afoot to charge residents in 35 more streets to the tune of £25 per year.
Don't be complacent if this is not nipped in the bud it will come to your street. Ask your local councillor if they are in favour of this tax on residents, because that's what it is.
If they cannot give you a straight answer – then don't vote for them!
