The unique sound of one of the finest and most respected bands of the 60's will make its return in Rhyl this month.
Undaunted by the loss of frontman Manfred Mann, London pioneers The Manfreds will bring their peerless blend of British R & B and jazz to the Pavilion for a masterclass of balancing style and substance as part of their Makin' tracks tour.
The band's numerous timeless hits as Manfred Mann, including Pretty Flamingo and Bob Dylan cover Mighty Quinn have been firmly established as classics for their eclectic, era defining sound.
Of course, no Manfreds set list would be complete without an appearance of their biggest crowd pleaser Do Wah Diddy Diddy, one of the most popular and instantly recognisable songs of the swing 60s.
Formed in 1962 and still touring in 2018, original Manfred Mann members, Mike D'abo, Mike Hugg and Tom McGuinness, are joined by Rob Townsend, Marcus Cliffe and Simon Currie as the exciting new line-up of The Manfreds.
The latest iteration of the mighty Manfreds has also enlisted the vocal talents of their very first front man, Paul Jones, to bring harmony back to the line up and ensure that unforgettable sound is a true as ever 55 years on.
With Jones at the helm, the band have made the most of the welcome return of his mesmerising harmonic playing on new release Makin’ Tracks, bringing the very best of jazz and blues.
Join the very best of 60s tastemakers on Saturday, April 28 at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £24.50 no concessions.
