Llyn Brenig Reservoir and Visitor Centre will be hosting a short film screening about how the Brenig reservoir was built.
The semi-professional short film, recently unearthed by the damn-safety team and transferred from VHS to digital, was shot during the construction of the reservoir between 1973-6.
This will be followed by another short film called “Coedwig y Cawr” by Trebor Roberts, a fun comedy-horror filmed in the local area in 1980.
The screening will be in the visitor centre cafe on March 10 at 18.00. Tea, coffee and cake will be available. Entry is free, with a total of 80 seats available on a first-come-first-served basis.
