INDEPENDENT television producers AVANTI Media are set to showcases a series of concerts and competitions in North Wales. At the Pontio Arts and Innovation Centre, this March, there will be four full days of entertainment and contests being held and recorded for television. The musical feast kicks off with Wales’s most famous song writing competition, Cân i Gymru broadcast from Pontio live on S4C on St David's Day, Thursday, March 1.

Eden and Elin Fflur will also present one of the week's highlights with a St David’s Day Gig on Friday, March 2. The series of performances finishes on Saturday, March 3 and Sunday, March 4, with two recordings of a new competition. Young choirs aged 18 and under will compete in The BBC Songs of Praise Young Choir of the Year Competition, 2018. The programme will be broadcast on BBC One throughout the UK.
