TICKETS are now on sale for the Annual Steam Gala at Llanfair Caereinion train station on August 30 and 31.
The weekend is the most intensive service of the year for the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway with 'The Earl', 'The Countess' and all of the company's working locomotive in steam.

ains including replica W&L Pickering carriages, double-headed trains and passenger trains hauled by 'Dougal'.
There will be a display of model railways and dioramas, railway bookstalls, Mr John Beesley's railway accessories sales stand, exhibitions by railway artists and Mr Callum Johnston's cornucopia of plants and flowers for garden and railway.
Refreshments will be available from the tea room and there will also be a licensed bar with draught ales.
Llanfair Station will also be illuminated by electric lanterns on the Saturday for night photography.
The event also coincides with a Garden Railway Exhibition being held at Llanfair Caereinion Leisure Centre.
Bargain weekend rover tickets, which also includes travel on Friday, August 29, are available at a cost of £25 per adult, with the first child per adult free.
Additional children's weekend rover tickets cost £12.50. These tickets must ordered by Sunday, August 24.
There are also bargain day rover tickets costing adults £16.20 (£18 on the day) and additional children £8.10 (£9 on the day).
The normal fares are also available but Member's Free Travel, Great Little Trains of Wales Discount Cards and Heritage Railway's Association tickets are not valid.
