NOW regarded as probably the best value for money family show in the area with live music and entertainment all day long, the organisers are expecting record crowds at Llanfechain Show.

There really is something for all the family from 11am onwards.

The traditional horticultural and other competitive marquees are there along with classic vehicles, art and craft displays, demonstrations, the dog show (12noon), pet show, Jack Green and the Jester with his team of fire eaters, stilt walkers, magicians, trade and charity stalls and a farmers' market.

There will also be children's fancy dress (2.15pm), children's sports, circus, willow and drumming workshops accompanied by live music from The George Formby Society, Hot Foot Jazzmen, rhythm maker African drumming and new this year Celtic and Balkan band DisKan.

The president for 2008 is Mr Alun Morris, a lifetime supporter of the show. Join him on Bank Holiday Monday, August 25.

More details of the show are available at www.llanfechain-show.co.uk
