SOAP stars, pop stars and talent show stars of the future will be descending on Rhyl this bank holiday weekend for Fun In The Sun 2008.

On Sunday, August 24 and bank holiday Monday, August 25, the Rhyl Events Arena will be filled with a host of celebrities performing live.
X-Factor finalists Same Difference, former Atomic Kitten Natasha Hamilton, and ex-Mis-teeq member Sabrina wil
l be entertaining crowds with the help of Rhyl's very own James Stone.
Up and coming singer/songwriter Laura Critchley will also be performing live, hot on the heels of her tour with Boyzone.
Katherine Kelly - otherwise known as Coronation Street's Becky Grainger - and Tom Lister from Emmerdale will so be coming to enjoy the fun, along with 70s tribute band Wig Wam Glam.
There will also be a host of girl bands on the verge of breaking through performing including Kissing Freddie, Stonefoxx, Vogue, Cinderella Theory and Fallen Angels.
In addition to the bumper line up of artistes, the event promises to include plenty of family friendly entertainment including face painting, circus skills workshops and a fun fair.
The RNLI will also be hosting their annual open day on Sunday, August 24, including a Red Devils parachute display, a World War Two Spitfire aircraft display, and the North Wales Police Helicopter.
Fun In The Sun 2008 is completely free and will be drawing in crowds from all over, so be sure not to miss this bumper weekend of entertainment.
