COMMONWEALTH Day was celebrated with a secondary school demonstrating its talents to the Welsh Assembly.
Blessed Edward Jones Catholic High School in Rhyl was one of 10 schools across Wales selected to stage an exhibition in the Oriel area of the Senedd in Cardiff.
Pupils who set up The Environment - Our Future display enjoyed a tour of the Senedd and discussed their work and the issue of the environment with Assembly members.
Lord Elis-Thomas, presiding officer of the Assembly and president of the CPA Wales Branch, said: "I enjoyed viewing the exhibitions that the schools prepared, they delivered a powerful message in a very artistic way."
