YOUNG and old residents were given a welcoming insight into healthy living at Prestatyn's health awareness day.
More than 150 children from Ysgol Bodnant and 40 adults attended the event in the town's council chambers, with fun activities and stalls giving all the chance to see programmes available to suit their needs.
The day coincided with men's health week, with guests able to have their weight, body fat and blood pressure measured to see how healthy they are and advice offered on how to improve their levels.
Stalls included organisations such as the council's Choices Fit Club, You'll Never Walk Alone and smoking cessation service, and external groups such as the cardiac rehabilitation group at Glan Clwyd Hospital, Diabetes UK and Coastal Care.
Event organiser Debbie Hughes, of the town's healthy communities scheme, said: "The day was a great success. We had six classes from Ysgol Bodnant and they enjoyed activities such as a fun quiz. Everyone who came seemed interested in the various stands we had."
