THIS year's president of Prestatyn and Rhyl Lions is Doreen Foulds, follows in the footsteps of her husband, lion welfare chairman John, who was a former president.
President Doreen has worked with Lions projects for years and is delighted to be president and hopes to work well with all fellow lions and other lions groups in the North Wales area.
One project she always supports is Children of the World, which was originally supported with the church Doreen and John were with for 68 years. It was sadly closed with no support.
But life goes on and helping children of the world of all ages is a progressive project of love.
President Doreen and John thank all community support given to Prestatyn and Rhyl Lions Club.
They appreciated help given with the arrival of 65 members of Mother Teresa's Liverpool group in Rhyl on July 12, with Tynewydd Church providing a room with food and drinks, with sincere love and joy extremely enjoyed.
