A DEVASTATED cat owner is distraught after her pet made a great escape from a cattery.
Tanya Williams, 36, from Bodelwyddan, is desperately searching for Harry, a two-year-old tabby, after he went missing form the Greenacres Cattery following a daring breakout during a thunderstorm.

Miss Williams who works for North Wales Ambulance
Service, said: "We dropped Harry off on the Wednesday and were supposed to pick him up on Sunday. We had a call Sunday morning saying that Harry had gone missing. That was four weeks ago now and we are still looking for him."

Rob Bascombe, owner of Greenacres Cattery, said: "It was a totally out of the blue incident, this the first time it has happened in 12 years. Unfortunately Harry managed to get out during a thunderstorm through a small join about four inches wide. We have been doing all we can to help find him."

There have been a number of possible sightings of Harry in the Bodelwyddan area and Miss Williams is still making daily searches for Harry.

She said: "I don't have children of my own, so Harry is my child really, it is really upsetting"

Miss Williams, who believes more care should have been taken in looking after her beloved cat, is currenlty in a dispute with the cattery over the incident, she said: "I was upset and angry, but my main concern is getting Harry back."

Mr Bascombe said: "Harry found a very obscure way of getting out, the building here is all very secure. After he got out we tried to call for Harry and we have left food out."

If you have seen Harry in the Bodelwyddan area you can call 07968 710162.
