Former Brownies are being invited to the 40th birthday celebrations of 1st Meliden Brownies.
The event, at Meliden Community Centre on Sunday, June 29, will celebrate the reforming of the pack in 1968.
Since then hundreds of girls have passed through the ranks and, in recent years, has included grandchildren of the original group.
Since th
at first meeting in May, 1968, the original 20 girls have spread far and wide with some of them living abroad.
Tawny Owl Susan Jones is hoping that as many as possible of those who have been in the group through the years will come to the reunion which starts at 2pm.
"I would like them to bring any old pictures they have and any other momentoes of their time in the Brownies.
"I am sure there will be plenty to talk about and anything they can bring with them will help jog everyones' memories," she added.
When the pack was formed in 1968 it was then after a break of more than 35 years and the leaders 40 years ago were Elma Jones and Elsie Newell.
Down the years, 1st Meliden Brownies have been involved in a number of carnivals and galas with pack holidays around Clwyd, pantomime trips and fund-raising events for different charities.
They regularly take part in Remembrance Day parades and Thinking Day services and are active across the community.
nIf anyone wants more details about the birthday celebrations they can contact Brown Owl Beryl Williams on 01745 338501.
