SMALL employers in the Vale of Clwyd are being offered the opportunity to gain free help and advice on filing online at an event in St Asaph on Wednesday, November 21.
HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has organised the event, which takes place from 10am to 12pm at the Bod Erw, to show how businesses can process their information quicker and efficiently.
"According to the HMRC online filing is quick, secure and conven
ient," said Chris Ruane, MP for Vale of Clwyd.
"Employers can send in PAYE information such as P45 forms and Annual Returns and it might be an ideal opportunity for businesses to learn more about online filing."
From April 2009, employers with 50 or more employees will have to send in-year employee starter and leaver information on forms P45(1), P45(3) and P46 online, along with similar pension information.
All employers – regardless of how many employees they have – will have to send this information online from April 2011.
For book a place at this event, or to find out about events planned for the future, please call Jan King on 01267 244871.
To make enquiries in Welsh, please contact Glyn Jones on 01970 632724. Places are limited, so early booking is recommended.
You can find out more about filing online by visiting www.hmrc.gov.uk/inyear
