COMPANY owners and senior managers throughout Denbighshire and Conwy will have a rare opportunity to learn first-hand from one of the UK's leading sales specialists.
Over the last 20 years John Leach has advised hundreds of companies on business strategies and techniques helping to boost their sales, improve confidence, and sustain entrepreneurial activity.

He will be speaking about sales management at Oriel House, St Asaph, on November 21 between 8am and 10am, during the latest round of the Welsh Assembly Government's 'People in Business' seminar programme.

The high-profile programme involves master classes by prominent business figures aimed at inspiring senior business people looking and enhancing their knowledge to achieve a competitive edge. The events also provide a networking opportunity to meet other entrepreneurs as well as find out about the business support available from the Welsh Assembly Government.

John, who is also managing director of Winning Pitch, is passionate about the role of professional selling in driving corporate success particularly in the SME environment, and has devised a winning formula for achieving sales supremacy in highly competitive markets.

Explained John: "You can have the greatest ideas, products or services in the world but if you don't know how to sell them you're going to go bust. In today's highly competitive global market companies need to be at the cutting edge of sales techniques to seek out every possible extra advantage over their rivals.

"I'm committed to developing new thinking in business development and my approach is based on tried and tested methods used by the world's most successful entrepreneurs," he added.

An expert in customer development strategies linked to personal improvement. John is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs fulfil their business dreams. He provides a highly practical no nonsense approach to building high performing innovative organisations.

John's presentations are entertaining, participative and highly informative, and designed to ensure individuals translate strategy into action and deliver results for their own companies and organisations.

Passionate and down to earth John provides real life examples that demonstrate the key messages of his entrepreneurial 'pitch perfect' philosophy, which has been adopted by many companies.

Minister for Skills John Griffiths said: "People in Business seminars have been highly successful due to the excellent standard of speakers. The seminars are held throughout Wales making them accessible and they're designed so attendees gain real practical value from them. John has an impressive track record and we are confident that he will help Welsh businesses move forward and enhance their operations."

People in Business Seminars costs £10 including breakfast. To book contact Bethan Willis on 01443 663790, or book online at www.wales.gov.uk/pib or email bethan.willis@wales.gsi.gov.uk.
